The vocals in The Curtain are a little bit trying, but allow me to make a sweeping generalization and say that this is true for most vocals during this period.
The playing in With is patient, flowing, and majestic. Trey's playing in particular reminds me a little bit of David Gilmour on this take. It's hard to believe that they played this in a little bar in Burlington, because everything about it is so polished and perfect. The limitations on Page's equipment certainly don't hurt this track as the sounds he contributes fit incredibly well.
